We’re grateful to have Maestra Judith Yan jumping onto the podium this weekend. Maestra Yue Bao is unable to be with us due to illness - we’re so sorry she’s not able to be on the podium and wish her well! 

Fresh off the podium of a world premiere of a new opera, Judith Yan graciously took a red eye to help us bring this concert to you. 

It’s a monumental feat to go from new opera to intensely demanding orchestral repertoire - it’s going to be a concert to remember!

In 2018, the SSO performed the first ever live performance of the songs of Joni Mitchell from her albums Both Sides Now and Travelogue. Since then, that concert has been done by nearly 50 orchestras around the globe including the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the National Symphony in Washington DC. 

Now Sarah Slean is back and we're thrilled to present a new concert featuring music from those two albums, and more! The performance includes hits including Both Sides Now, A Case of You, Circle Game, Blue, River, and so much more!

Things get heated with the SSO on October 21st when renowned pianist Lucille Chung makes her SSO debut performing Rachmaninoff's intense and virtuosic Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini.

The Saskatoon Symphony have announced their live stream line up for their 93rd season!

An SSO Streaming Subscription gives you access to all of the live streamed concerts as well as the past concerts of the SSO.
